If you're looking for grey coping stones that will add a touch of elegance to your project, Kandla grey coping stones are the perfect choice.
The Product: A Kandla Grey sandstone wall coping. Available in 2 edge finishes to match with any style of space. Bullnosed edges come with drip grooves to protect the underside of the stone.
The Size: There are 4 sizes of grey coping stone. They will be visible in the dropdowns if in stock.
The Edges: There are two different edge styles to choose from. Not all edge types are available in each size:
- Bullnosed Edges - Rounded edges on the two long sides of the coping. Great for a contemporary finish.
- Hand-dressed Edges - Naturally formed edges that have been split by hand. They are rough to touch and look natural.
The Thickness: These copings are all calibrated to 30mm thick. This means they are much easier to install whilst keeping level.
Colour Palette for Kandla Grey: A uniform blend of greys from light to dark.

Kandla Grey Sandstone Coping Stones
Sandstone Coping stones have a more natural look & feel, they often have rougher surfaces and are suitable for more traditional spaces. These copings are available as either Grey Coping Stones or Raj Green Coping Stones.
Sandstone Coping Stones have been around for centuries and have been used in a variety of ways. Most commonly, they are used as a decorative element on the top of a wall or as an edging material for large raised patios. They can also be used to protect walls, create defined walkways, or even used as edgings for koi ponds for example. Sandstone is a very strong and durable material that is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
Sandstone coping stones come in a variety of colors, sizes, and shapes as they are a natural and varied material, each piece is truly unique. The most common colors are tan/brown and grey, which you can find as part of our Raj Green and Kandla Grey ranges respectively.
The most popular size is 60cm long, with varying widths depending on the width of the wall - there are sizes to suit almost any wall size. There are also many different textures that sandstone can have, from smooth to rough. Each piece varies which only adds to the natural charm. No matter what you are looking for, there is a sandstone coping stone to suit.

Bullnosed Edges | Rounded
Bullnosed edges are smooth, rounded edges that are perfect for contemporary spaces. Grey coping stones with a bullnose edge is a popular choice for modern pool surrounds or wall topings in a neutral space.
Coping stones with this edge type also come with pre-installed drip-grooves to ensure the underside if the coping is protected from water damage.
Hand Dressed Edges | Natural
Hand-dressed edges are natural edges which are perfect for rustic or traditional spaces.
It is a classic wall coping that especially suited to walls where you have opted to use quarried bricks rather that concrete or clay bricks as hand-dressed copings and quarried stone walling stone match perfectly.

Are Kandla Grey Copings Easy To Look After?
Yes they are. Kandla grey is an incredibly robust and long lasting sandstone that last for years, if not decades, without any real signs of aging.
Thye can be left as they come without and real need for care and attention.
How Do I Install Wall Copings?
There are guides out there on the best way to install your coping stones. It's much the same as it would be when installing another row of bricks.
The only thing to remember is if you have bullnosed edges, make sure the drip droves on the underside of the copings overhang the wall itself.
Do You Deliver To Where I Live?
Yes! Unless you have found us from outside the UK.
We deliver to the entire UK mainland inclusive in the price you pay. Northern Ireland or delivery to surrounding islands can be arranged on an ad hoc basis.
How Will My Coping Stones Be Delivered?
Depending on quantity, orders will arrive in a pallet box. Where they are not full boxes, they will be securely strapped to the box to guarantee no breakages.
Delivery will normally be made on manual forks/pump truck and will only be guaranteed kerbside. However, if your driveway is flat and then the driver may agree to move it to your driveway. However it is not guaranteed.
If you are unsure on suitability for delivery, please give us a call in advance.
